Randy Jaffe built this Datsun 240Z in homage to the original BRE 240Z built by Peter Brock and raced by John Morton.

My goal was to build an exact replica in, you know, basically back in time by using the people that build a car as a reference theme to 40. Uh, motor was the 2400 cc and the stock list price on the car was about 35 26. You know, it's just such a great value. People that had bought 9 11 for 45 $6000 were stunned by the performance and and When John Morton won this race at Road Atlanta two years in a row, it pretty much changed racing. It change perception on the street Japanese cars. So we drove it down this morning.
